? We are working hard at perfecting our letters and numbers. We are also learning basic sight words.

? This week we have been talking about insects. We learned that a person who studies insects is called an entomologist.

? In math we are working on the coins penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. In general we are working on recognizing what the coin is and trying to remember what the value is. We also started talking about recognizing the coins by looking at the heads and tales.

? The book and software order came home last week. This will be the last order of the year. I have combined the May and June order. It will be due in class or online by Friday May 13th.
