What should I do if I am absent?
In Kindergarten much of the work we do is done together with the exception of math Home Links. Toward the end of the school year there may be more take home work. If you know before hand that your child will be absent please let me know. I can work with you to get the homework assignments to your child. If your child is ill, I will give him/her the assignments when they return or they can be picked up by a parent. You have as many days to complete the assignments as you were gone.
How much homework will my child have?
In Kindergarten your child will have very little homework. Some evenings you will see a math Home Link. The main purpose of the Home Link is to bring math conversation into the home. Please remember it is always important to read to your child, or have your child read to you every night. Building a good foundation for reading starts early :)
